I was stopped at a crosswalk there was a lady standing on the corner waiting to cross the street but not in front of my car the opposite directionon the she had black hair a yellow coat and she was white i waited till the cross walk cleared and the light turned green about three minutes later i had a very vivid memory of this woman even thouhg she was in a completely safe place when i did actually see her is it common for people with ocd to have pop up memories of people that they just saw and then think that it was a real human and she was standing in front of your car and hit her.

So, really, we need to straighten things up here, because I'm not really sure I quite understood your experience and the question about that. You are diagnosed with OCD, right? The lady you saw was actually at one point there, or is she someone you knew from somewhere else? If you are diagnosed with OCD, it is not uncommon at all to have compulsive thoughts which at times can be very brutal - like the one in your experience. What are your symptoms besides this one?
