YUP! Pine nuts from China cause an awful metallic taste for about a week. I live in The Netherlands, and I always buy mine from the supermarket, because I don't trust the pine nuts from the Toko Stores.

ME TOO - 2 days of bitterness - everything is awful ...and yes, they were Trader Joe's pine nuts from Russia OR China.

I am on day 3 suffering.
I have the bad taste during and after eating. I seem to have mild mild nausea too, mostly in the morning but once I am up and brush my teeth it seems a lot better.
What is helping me.... after eating when the taste comes on I brush my teeth and tongue with Aquafresh toothpaste. Tastes absolutely dreadful but it makes the taste go away again much quicker than just waiting.
Oreo cookies are the only thing that taste great to me and do not bring on a bad taste.

I have a need to have an aspirin taste in my mouth. When I was six years old I was told I had a heart ,murmur after five year of taking orange baby aspirins ,y heart ,murmur went away. The craving for aspirins disappeared until child birth of my two children who can not take aspirin without serious side affects. The craving for the taste has returned. I have had a recent operation and I an healthy. What can the bitter craving taste be.
