My husband and I are in our first month of trying and are wondering if I count the date of my period as the date I start to have bleeding or if it is counted from the date I first feel cramping? I generally go 35 days between cycles, but 2-3 days before the period starts, I get cramps. I've been watching mucus, etc the last few months as we've been thinking about it, but haven't been sure about the "first day"? Does this make sense?
