flem that taste like salt

I am doing the same thing. Hacking white bubbly phloem that tastes like salt. Anyone got an answer?

If you are in an area where they have salted the roads..you have been breathing it in and that is why you are coughing it up. Every time they salt the roads and I go outside I get the same problems..It usually goes away in a few days after not being exposed to it.

Also, if someone is cooking in the house, such as soup with lots of salt in it...the same reaction can happen.

I am very sensitive to salt and this is what happens to me.

Hope this is what is wrong with you both. If it doesn't go away in a few days and you have not been exposed to any salt from outside or cooking in the house..You might want to ask your physician.

Im doin the same thing. I went to dr said it was bacteriol infection. I difnt tell dr about salt taste ?
