If your that bothered about it go see a doctor, stop being a little p***y because you might get embarressed (THATS WHAT DOCTORS ARE FOR). seriously just leave it if it's not causing any pain or harm, if it is then yes that is serious which means you should definitley go see your doctor duhh! , It's your anatomy, people who say you should yank it and tear it are dumb f**ks and will most likely get an infection (seriously not worth it), have you ever heard of circumcision, thats what they do they cut off the foreskin. But as far as i'm concerned your not a jew so leave it alone.

I had this problem as a teenager and it made it very difficult to retract the foreskin, and could be quite uncomfortable. During sex it broke away and although there was some blood, within a day everything was sorted. A minor procedure can also be performed if you speak to a doctor.

I saw this on my BF...it is not the frenulum, but a band about 1/2 wide coming from the foreskin and attached to the side of the ridge of the gland. It doesn't seem to bother him as he has not said anything and it doesn't seem to restrict him. I had never seen an uncircumcised penis before and wondered about this same thing. I have not really asked him about it yet. Happened upon this while looking for information.
If you find more information about this I am interested.

Hey dude, I had the same problem with the foreskin being attached to the bell-end causing it to go to the side but I slowly tore it a little everyday. No blood came out, it didn't hurt much and only took a few days to heal so you could do it more. So try that and it will definitely work coz it did with me. :)

That this piece of skin is supposed to be there. It is normal. It is called the "frenulum". Now that you know its name, you can look it up on the Internet. Your are normal and don't have a disease.
The frenulum has an artery in it that supplies blood to the head. Don't try to cut it.

Your "banjo strap" is your frenulum. It is supposed to be there. If it is too short, you can gently stretch it over time. A short frenulum is known as "frenulum breve". You can look it up now that you know the name.

Hi Jenelah:
It sounds like you boyfriend has an adhesion on the top of his glans penis (head). He can try to break it manually by trying to pull it apart. If that doesn't work, he can go to a urologist who can break the adhesion.
