Im 41the as of yesterday and last Tuesday was one month for me. Had been ill since last october and right side if me face and ear would not clear. Mri showed fluid in the mastoid process and since nothing else showed up I was told this should help. I had the screeching along with blocked feeling and loss of hearing. Had both ears dine since fluid showed up on both sides on mri. What a mistake! So much worse than before the surgery basically deaf in the right ear.....horrible vertigo whooshing pulsating ....and the nurse kept saying its all normal could take up to four weeks to clear. Well last Tuesday was four weeks and its not as bad as immediately after sugery ....as that pressure was u.bearable......but its still not as good as I was before surgery....and screeching has never stopped.
