Hi everyone. I am about to do this,,, go from 360 mg oxycodone ( current situation) to suboxone to nothing. I have researched a long term suboxone regimen (about 30 days or so). I know about doing this under dr.s suervision but I cannot do that at this time. Is there anyone who has done this at home? I can monitor My own bloodpressure. Is there anyone out that who has done this at home? Again, pls dont advise me to see my dr., because it isnt possible - I thank everyone in advance for their help. Cye

I'm on 24 mgs of suboxone myself, but it's under a long term maitnance plan from a doctor,I'm not planing on tapering down anytime soon, but if you really can't see a doctor and from what it sounds like, your trying to ween yourself down/off by yourself. My suggestion would be to make sure you do a very slow tapper down to make sure you don't go in to massive withdrawls. I am unsure what mg of suboxone you are planing on weening down from because you did not supply that information in your column. If you let me know how many mgs your weening down from, then I may be able to help you come up with a ween down plan that hopeluly will be an appropriate length of time as to not put you in seriouse withdrawls. I must stress to you that I am by NO MEANS a Doctor or anything close to one. I only think I can help you due to what I have heard and learned about weening down/off from suboxone from others. Also I must stress that I myself have never tried to ween down/off from suboxone, as I mentiond above I am currently on suboxone as a long term maitnance plan, so there are no garuentees if what I would suggest will even work, but I think I have a good enough idea due to being around others who have succesfuly weend down/off from suboxone. So let me know the mgs and I will do my best to help you.
