Gallbladder probs and prolonged period

i was in hospital last week as i had serious pain in my right abdomen - i was diagnosed with stones in my gallbladder. My period started 2 days before i was admitted into hospital and now i have been bleeding for nearly 2 weeks.

Is this normal with gallbladder problems or should i go to my doctor?? [



I'm not sure if this is normal;however, I have just been diagnosed with gall stones and I am having my period for the second time this month. I told the nurses that I've had 2 periods this month during my initial visit to the surgeon and during the pre-operation process for the removal of the stones, but they still gave me a pregnancy test and didn't seem alarmed at all. In retrospect, I think it is safe to assume that it is normal. Don't forget to include that information though, just to be on the safe side. Good luck!
