I had symptoms very similar to you.Don't be worried. I had what was called a desmoid(?) tumour. I t was 20 years ago so I don't remember the name. It was non-cancerous and I had it surgically removed. It has never returned. See a doctor. He can alleviate your fears.

Maybe if we were able to see our doctors from 20 years ago, that would be true. I tell you. I have no idea what "primary care phyisians" do these days. They refer. They barely touch you. They don't interpret test results with what they can see clinically. Mine, I am absolutely certain, is using the Internet for diagnosis - solely.
It was good of you to post such an optimistic point of view, especially when there are excellent pcp's -- somewhere.

Ever thought that maybe there wasn't a solution??? I've got the same issue and no doctor I have went to knows.

I have this rib bubble thing going on also and it may related to gas or constipation as i have endometriosis and get that alot, recently i went to the doc and asked about the constipation cause it had gotten worse and she suggested checking out my multi vitamin to see if it had iron in it cause that can cause constipaton. I did and it does. I take the vitamin every other day now rather then every day. Also I have started snacking on nuts and that helps keep things regular.
I have started thinking this is related to an ulcer which i have had for a long time...ulcers cause alot of gas and heartburn, nausea, etc... so I am started a diary of what I eat and hopefully that will help me see if something in particular irritates this rib bubble. The food diary may be able to help the docs give me a good diagnosis if this pursists.

Sounds like diverticulitis to me. I have had it a few times. I didn't feel like eating but I did anyway because we have to eat to live. Burping, bad gas, bad smells in urine and stool. Crampy belly, bloating, and extremely tired. Doctors can do a CT for diagnosis and prescribe antibiotics. I actually checked into the hospital for 2 days of IV antibiotics when oral didn't help. I felt better after hospital but still get occasional flare ups. I am also cutting out dairy as I am now lactose intolerant.
