So i have been having my normal pms symptoms for the past two days and i am pretty much due within the next 2 or 3 days. However, today my fianceé and i had unprotected sex. He pulled out though. But he told me that he did masturbate earlier this morning and hadn't peed all day. I bring up that last detail because from my understanding precum could only potentially impregnate you if it contains sperm from a previous ejaculation unless it gets washed out by urine. My question is that given how close i am to my due date for my period, should i even take the morning after pill? From my understanding it prevents the ovaries from releasing an egg. Will it be at all effective in my case if i decide to take it just to be safe given that my period should start very soon?
