I had this done going on 7 days ago. Am not sure what gums are suppose to look like after. Feels like have stitches behind two bottom teeth. Had my husband look at my mouth numerous times because getting paranoid messed up area. Had broth and Galatis the first 6 days. By day six was desparate so chopped food up into little pieces so could chew in the back and swallow rather than using front teeth. Will be so glad when this completely heals because plan to treat myself to a great big dinner!  How can you tell okay after a week?
