Hi, I believe my gums are inflamed. But, as I had some oral surgery done not so long time ago, I believe I am over sensitive in this region now. Should I be worried about this?

Hi, you should not neglect the fact that your gums are over sensitive as it could indicate gingivitis. In case of repeated inflammation of the gums, bleeding gum, and other related symptoms preventive measures should be taken. You can apply some aqueous solution for rinsing your mouth and preventing spreading of the infection. Antibiotics like Amoksicillin, Cedax or others if you are allergic to any of these can be helpful. There are oral creams for gums to prevent pain and inflammation that can be purchased without prescription.
