I have had unprotected sex few weeks ago, and since then and wondering if I got some sexually transmitted infection. I have noticed some tiny whiteheads when my scrotum is hard and one red and shiny as a scar. They are all skin color when my scrotum is hanging soft, and the area is often itchy but never painful. I would like what does this sound like to you, what do you think these hard things on my scrotum are?

This sounds like cysts, and not herpes or some other sexually transmitted infection. The type 1 herpes titers are not meaningful. However, the skin changes as these hard whiteheads on your scrotum do not sound suspicious. I would advice you to leave them alone so they can be examined. The best would be to let a doctor look, so you will know for sure what these hard things on your scrotum are. Your symptoms sound like irritation, chafing, and perhaps some folliculitis, but nothing serious as I can conclude. All these hard things are common in the groin and scrotum, so I think there is no need to be so much worried. None of them is an STD, but I would again suggest that you see a doctor. I was tested for STD a little over 2 months ago and was told I have herpes simplex 1 when I had the same hard bumps on scrotum as you reported. I have also had unprotected sex since then and wondering if I also have simplex two or what these hard things on scrotum are, so the same as you should do, I decided to have doctors check up.
