"Nothing will fix your withdrawal except an opiate" = Completely false. There are a plethora of pharmaceutical AND natural products that can reduce the severity of withdrawal. A few are: Immodium AD (OTC), Gabapentin (RX), Seroquel (RX), Clonidine (RX), Passionflower (herb), Amino acids like L-Tyrosine...you get my point and people should consider all of these options to help them get through it.
"If you go on the site and read the customer reviews you can tell they were all written by one person" = Wrong. In order to get BBB certification, you must produce all documentation for product testimonials. It is part of the "advertising review". That means that every testimonial has to have an email, letter or something to verify authenticity. Only names, syntax and grammar are allowed to be altered from the testimony.
"It is a scam and a legal one" = Proof? Have you tried it?
"they can claim whatever nonsense they want about their product and not have any truth behind it": Apparently you can too!
With the exception of your note about GNC which would cost far more than the product, you are wrong on every single point. As another poster said, the content alone on that site should tell you that it is not a fly by night operation; also have a Guide that is very thorough. If you don't want to pay for it, then don't but don't discourage other people from trying anything to get through detox more comfortably. There are a number of ways to do this and people on this board should be aware of them. Don't go cold turkey without considering your options.

Vistaril is a anti nausea medicine! So glad to helped!' I have a 17 mo old son and might be expecting soon and I know I can get off them it's thru my dr for a herniated disc in my lower back I take 10 mg every 4 hrs and I can barely make it too 4 hrs. I'm a recovering addict and had been sober since 2007 cocaine. My sponsor says it's not technically a relapse but I know that since I've been on them for 4 weeks it's gonna be a horrible taper.

I have been clean from Hydrocodone 10-325's (12/day) that I was taking daily for over 8 months, tramadol (taking 3 years) and paxil (6 months) for 3 weeks now cold turkey. I tried to taper but found that impossible. CT was the only way I could just do it! It was hell the first week but hot baths in epsom salts, drinking lot's of fluids, eating nutrient rich foods/juices, all helped. The lingering symptom seems to be loss of energy for me. Any suggestions? I am ready to start living again.

I use an average of 80-120 mgs of oxycodone daily which has progressed to that dosage over aproximately a 3 year time frame. I have tried to quit in the past and was successful for periods of a month or so. I am at a point where several truly terrible events have happened and are now past so I now need to deal with "life" without covering it up. Pain is a part of life. I am going to start therapy and I just ordered Withdrawl Ease. I truly hope I am one of the lucky ones that it works for because I suffer tremedously while trying to detox. I have a wonderful life, job and family and I need to do this. there is no other option. I will let everyone know if I believe the product works or not as I have done it before cold turky. Best of luck to everyone. This is the biggest mistake I ever made, and now I have to fix it.

I LOVE withdrawl ease!! It is well worth the money every penny, if you shop around you can find some cheaper prices. as well as if you buy a few month supply it becomes cheaper. Ive been on it for a few months now. I use to use heroin very heavily once i quit that i was on suboxone. I tapered down and still had bad withdrawls. Then one day i came accross withdrawl ease, I ordered it and loved it. You can use it while you taper down. But for it to really work you need to be mentally ready to quit!! As soon as i was ready i was able to quit with pretty much no withdrawl symptoms what so ever. Yes youre not going to feel as good as you do on opiates and for a few days you wont have much energy but you wont b in agony! after a week at most you start to feel human again. I just ordered myself Recovery Ease because i feel as if i am past the withdrawl stages and am in full recovery mode. I swear by withdrawl ease and any of my friends who are opiate dependent i have told them about it and it has helped them as well, as long as you are mentally ready to do so. I am sure it has not worked for some, but you also have to believe that it will work. Have some faith in it and you will do just fine :)

I have not tried Withdrawal-ease, however, noted it does have Milk Thistle, Ginger, Melatonin and other natural herbs that can easily be purchased separately to tailor fit your needs.
Due to a decade of chronic pain and nerve damage, I am currently tapering off Oxycontin and Oxycodone and realizing that alot of doctors who freely prescribed me the meds GROSSLY UNDERESTIMATED (or did they?) the fast-acting, addictive power of these tiny little pills. It's amazing how more positive is my outlook and I even feel less pain! Which leads me to conclude that long-term pill use actually can cause more pain and, obviously other medical issues. For sleep problems, I listen to Meditation, Relaxation tapes. Whatever works!
Every drug is different. Methadone withdrawal doesn't even really get underway for at least a week and is merely exchanging one drug for a more powerful and priviately controlled drug. Methadone addicts rarely if ever successfully detox and many stay chained for life. I would never recommend methadone detox. It is a private industry and I daresay they don't make any money from successful detox as users generally graduate right into a daily Methandone Maintenance Program. Do not go near methadone. Sorry that is my personal opinion based on my own past experiences and observations.
Suboxone, imho is stronger and highly addicting as well. The best is to do some research on your particular drug of choice and taper off of THAT drug rather than switch--except cocaine and methamphetamine which should be and can be stopped immediately. Cocaine and methamphetamine are more a mental and emotional addiction rather than a physical and are the fastest destroyers.
Nutrition, exercise and support are very important for any detox and also avoiding people, places or things. Give your car keys to someone as your car will literally carry you backwards during the most difficult days of early detox.
Most of all, you have to want to leave the drugs and pills behind more than anything in the world and buying a bottle of something or other for $90 is yet another quick fix that really isn't a quick fix. There's no such thing.
I would also highly recommend the blood pressure medicine that miraculosly helped with withdrawal symptoms but this was done inpatient for about ten (10) days and there are fewer and fewer inpatient facilities except for the very rich. I believe there are outpatient facilities available that accept insurance.
Definitely recommend a 12-step Program and choose a good Sponsor. Make common sense decisions and DO NOT put your brain on a shelf. There are predators in the 12-Step rooms looking for vulnerable newbies and it's definitely NOT a dating game. Men stick with the men and women stick with the women there for that very reason. Two sick-os don't make a well-o.
Yikes! I know I went off the topic a bit, however, for me, the first healthy decision is to understand we cannot find a solution in a bottle--any bottle. It comes from within us and not from without. Peace and Congratulations to those wanting to detox, trying to detox or researchng to help another.

Hello first time poster here, I'm on day 10 of my WD from Tramadol 5-8 a day for 3 years I am 55 years old and took it for major back pain spasms that was so bad I had to crawl to the bathroom when getting up from bed. Anyway long story short I ordered the withdrawal ease 120.00 pack with the recovery formula I took the day/night formula for one week before stopping cold turkey after a month of tapering down as their directions state and I can tell you I thought this was going to be easy with this stuff after the 4th day the hell began I had all the typical symptoms of the worst drug withdrawals I ever experienced the most disabling was this constant diarrhea and stomach cramps that started on day 5 it was so bad I quit the withdrawal ease because I thought my body was reacting to it in a negative way It is so bad I had to take a week off work there was no way I could work going through this living hell anyway, after going to the Doctor I going to have to get through this as this was part of the Methadone that was in my body from the trams so to this (day 10) I started back on the withdrawal ease it's now Friday hopefully by Monday I can start back to work I cannot afford to stay at home doing nothing feeling sorry for my self I will keep you updated on my progress of the withdrawal ease program.
