i.m considering having the leep procedure, and i,m scared about the whole thing any tips to calm my nerves.
I had the Leep procedure done 2 days ago and I feel fine. The only thing that caused me any pain was the actual numbing of the cervix. Other than that it was just a matter of getting through it. Lets face it, no one likes having to go to the gyn. I took a nerve pill and a Motrin before the procedure. The first day I slept pretty much the whole day but I think that was just me finally relaxing after worrying about it for days. What helped me was I just set my mind to the fact that this was going to help me more then hurt. If this can prevent cervical cancer then its well worth it. And lots and lots of prayer. I sent prayer request out to some ministries that really minister to me for a prayer covering during the procedure and it helped to give me peace. I hope this helps.
