I just started with the headaches about 6 weeks ago- I have had the pain for years... Blood panel was fine 5 months ago. HIV test negative a few years back when i thought i should be tested. I am going to PCP today and asking to be tested for Lupus, thyroid problems, Diabetes... My sister has Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue along with Vertigo... And has many of same triggers.

To the girl on amytryptiline or however its spelt my sister was on it. I noticed you are 15 this isnt supposed to be prescribed to anyone under the age of 18 as it can mess with hormones. My sister became very erratic on it and done something terrible and was told it was a result of the drug.

Hi. Im fourteen and a half. I get the same thing except the bleeding. These headaches drive me crazy. The wierd part is that I get them when the lights at my school change quickly. My mother and i thought it was related to my glaucoma, but when I went to the doctor about them, she said they were,nt from the glaucome or sinus. I am not exactly sure what to do now. I did learn though from experience that if I am in the dark they seem to slightly go away. Also, I get a very sharp pounding in my head when I am at church with the music. It starts then it goes away. ? ?

Wow, I have the same symptoms- including bleeding. I just got a blood/urine test for diabetes, which was negative, but there is protein in my urine. I'm going back to see if that might be the cause of anything. They've ruled out diabetes, tumors, allergies, migranes, bad eye sight, my birth control. . . Good luck to everyone. Maybe one day we'll figure it out.

Hello all,
First thing you need to rule out are the common problems. Have you had your eyes tested? Silly you might think but many people that suffer continual headaches find that the eyes are the cause of it. Next, how is your sodium intake? Sodium = Salt for those that didn't know. Did you know that many foodstuffs are high in sodium, eg. peanut butter. Try cutting down on your salt intake and see what happens. Next, do you cook food in pots made from aluminum? Even cans of coke and other soft drinks are in aluminum, so yeah, most do. Throw those posts out and replace with steel. Do you watch a lot of Television, or sit before a computer for long lengths of time? Don't, take a break every hour or two. Do you pop a lot of pain pills for headaches? Right, most people believe that the quickest method is always the best, but in truth it is more harmful. Go see an acupuncturist or a herbalist - explain the problems. Many are stress related, sun related, too much eye strain, bad eating habits. Yes, most can be dealt with if seen by the right people. I am light sensitive myself and am prone to frequent headaches, so I stay out of the sunlight. I do my own pressure point massage on my hands to get the headache to start to go. I do 7 of 7 breathing techniques to get my energy levels up so that I am strong enough to heal myself. I know a very good Chinese acupuncturist as well. In today's world, the way we live is more harmful to us that we know - we are our own worst enemies when it comes to staying healthy. You can email me if you wish : _[removed]_ if you wish to talk. We must be here for each other as the medical profession is only there to make money out of you. Let us show compassion for one another and help where we can.
Have a blessed day / night

Just wanted to comment on the symptoms listed by several people. I'm a 39 year old male and in the last 4-5 months I've had similar symptoms. I started noticing these after a cell tower was built 300ft. from my house. All test from doctor show ok. If you research symptoms related to cell/base stations and emf you will be amazed. thanks Clint

I've been experiencing the same problems minus the bleeding, also. but, i really don't think it's mono because i had mono a year ago, and it was nothing like this at all. plus can't you only have mono once? but, if you hear anything about what's wrong, please let me know %-)

I think perhaps you should look at sleep apnea or delayed sleep phase syndrome (DSPS) consider looking for a sleep specialist because sleep apnea can cause headaches and sleepiness during day and night. I'm 13 but i never considered getting tested for this. i just know i have a problem with sleep and headaches and exhaustion.

From what i have read, and I admit I did not read the entire post, no one seems to be looking at the #1 cause of illness in today's times. Diet and Exercise. I would by no means suggest any of you start any kind of exercise regimen, but what about your diet. While on here googling, try looking into the foods and drinks that you consume on a daily basis. I have found, as have many others I have met, that many, many illnesses, disorders, and even untreatable diseases can be cured with proper diet and exercise. Eliminate salt, caffeine, and unnecessary sugars from your diet. Buy organic produce and meats. Try to stick with lean red meat or chicken. Never ever eat anything cooked with any kind of oil. Cook your own foods using fresh produce, seasonings, spices, etc. Drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. (this is not that much when you eliminate all other drinks; coffee and tea are ok.) I know most of you probably eat pretty healthy, but if you begin reading labels you will find that many prepackaged foods you eat contain partially hydrogenated oils. that is simply put, GREASE. Also, the steroids, preservatives, and other additives in foods are ridiculously unhealthy. We all want to be well, but too many times we want to pour chemicals into our bodies and then ask the doctors to help us feel better. I have met people who had daily medications for years, and now feel wonderful with no need for medications. I urge you to try it for 3 weeks, no cheating at all. What have you got to lose? If you have any questions you can feel free to contact me at _[removed]_kberry.net.
And let me just note, eating healthy, truly healthy, actually costs less per week, and it takes no more time for me to prepare meals now than it did before.
Just think, in three weeks you could be Headache Free, Have more energy, lower cholesterol, reduced chance of Heart Disease, Diabetes, and a whole slew of other benefits.
Whether you change your diet or not, I wish you all the best of luck in finding out what ails you.

I have most of the same symptoms as you and i'm the same age (15) and everything. I haven't had much testing done yet but in the next few days i'm getting an MRI and MRA done. My Aunt had the same things going on when she was a teen too and she had a hormone imbalance and was put on birth control to help it.

I have been having very similar symptoms. Is is now January and i have had them since october last year. I have a constant headache which lasts through the day and night however tends to be worse in the evening past 5pm. I feel like i have a very stiff neck and i find myself always having aches and pains. It sometimes feels like my eyes are straining however i have had an eye test and i have no problems with my eye sight. I also have had a blood test which has come back clear. I have been to the doctors alot recently and each one has tested the nerves in my head making me follow their finger with my eyes ect and they said there is no problem with my nerves. I feel constantly drained and tired and have low energy. Although i feel so tired , i find it extremely hard getting to sleep at night. the headache seems to be all over my head and they tend to feel worse after i exercise. im sick and tired of feeling like this now and wish i could find a cure for it.

These seem to be the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
I was diagnosed with this 4 years ago after an awful bout of Glandular Fever. Itinially the doctors thought that my symptoms such as constant state of fatigue, thirstiness, insomnia, mood swings etc were associated with diabetes. I was so tired hat i could not speak, work, function. I would sleep 15-16 hours a day and still be tired and emotional for the few hours I was awake.
After lots of painful testing the doctors narrowed it down to Chronic Fatigue.
And i am sorry to say that the only 2 things you can do to control Chronic Fatigue is eat healthy and lots of exercise. Avoid all types of caffine and stimulants!
It is very hard to get into a routine and very easy to slip out but if you keep it up i assume you it will do wonders. :-D
Good Luck!

I have EXACTLY the same thing! I'm going to a chiropraktor twice a week to get my stiff neck/back sorted, but it just seems to make the headaches and the tiredness worse. I'm getting my second blood test on friday.. and now I really hope they find something..

I'd be surprised that amitriptyline would do anything for you.. I was on that for years with almost identical symptoms without the bleeding.
Chronic headaches and orthostatic hypotension are my problems...
