I am in my 50's get migraines on a regular basis. When I started getting these same symptoms I was studying for a test. A lot of reading then all of a sudden words were all jumbled up, blurry, then blind with flashing lights in my vision on the page. Obviously I quit studying so much. Now when I get a migraine I slur my speech can't think of the word I want to use. It feels like a stroke type of thing. Very scary. : (

My boyfriend had similar problems for a while. When he finally went to the doctor about it they gave him prescription meds to help ease the pain, and it has done wonders for him.

I am currently experiencing the same problem. I’m 19 too an get frequent mild to severe migraines. I rely on Asmr videos and pain relief medication to help me sleep late at night; it’s like my brain is on overdrive and shutdown at the same time 24/7, and my body can’t take it any longer l. I’m constantly stuttering, mixing up my words, losing my train of thought, blanking out, forgetting important information like my address and dob, extremely fatigued. I attend a 4-yr univ with a 3.7, so my cognition is not impaired in anyway, but this is beginning to affect my social and psychological life and I’m too scared to seek help because I feel like will stress me out even more and tip me over the edge.

I have been experiencing stammering, forgetfulness, temporal headaches, pressure in my face/head. I know I have an impacted wisdom tooth, and having seen the X-ray, I have gum disease behind the tooth. I have a feeling a lot of my symptoms are due to my teeth and possible infection. Is it worth getting your wisdom teeth checked? Has anyone had theirs removed but still have these symptoms?
When the wisdom teeth move, they can sit on nerves which split into 3 down the side of the face, causing all sorts of pain and tension. The infection too can cause problems in the brain as your body is constantly fighting it, in a sort of auto-immune response. I saw a chiropractor who managed to release tension in my neck, which helped with the headaches. But the forgetfulness and stammering is still there.

I also have MS and have been having headaches daily. I sometimes will be looking at my Facebook and don't recognize peoples names I have known forever. Even my husband and kids names I can't think of. It is scary. I don't take MS meds because they made me almost bed ridden, everyone is different. I feel like I'm going to forget everyone and anxiety kicks in. Then I'm extremely tired. Its been two years since my last MRI because too many are not good for you and I had alot in the past. Hope it all clears up for us all.

We don't 90 % of MS patients have Lyme disease, but he he standard tests miss about 80% of cases. Great response with treatments and immune modulstors, such as peptides

What can be the cause of forgetfulness, other than physical injury?
