I had LEEP procedure done after they found abnormal cells both on pap smear an colposcopy done two weeks ago. It was painful immediately after anesthetic wore off but things got relatively normal in a day or two. Then all of the sudden almost a week ago now I started bleeding, with some clots there, but it wasn’t much more than a heavy period. It happened to me before, and when I called in the doctor’s office nurse pretty much said it was probably my period that LEEP procedure triggered. They don’t seem to see the problem in me bleeding pretty heavily during last 10 days or so. I’m not sure what to do since this really doesn’t look like my period and anyway, I had my period end 2 days ago before the procedure, it’s early for this to be my period. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
