hello i had the paraguard iud cooper in my boday for 2 years and it didnt go well with me i had alot of problems with it,, hair loss,, sex drive, itchy every where, gained weight, i didnt want to do anything, i felt tierd and lazzy all the time.. i had to much problems on the paraguard iud expeally heavy bleeding all the time, and big ass Blood clots and all and couldnt take the pain anda ll anymore.... and now i went to doctor a month ago and got the Mireania IUD and i have it in now for 1 month and a week. and so far everything is GREAT!!! no more pain...no more cramps, no more discharge , no more smell, no period yet its great, and i have felt so much better on it!!! so far its great for me!!! i feel so much better!!!!!!!!!! so much more exercise and everything else. no pain down the leg or back anymore, no itchy down my private area...omg its so much better so far.
i think it depends on the person body.... i have alot of friends that are on mieanara and they love it and havnt had no problems or trouble with it yet and they had it for years now. and my other friend has it for almost 3 months and she loves it... so it depends on the person.... and how there body reacts to it. but so far i love it and its good for me :) and i hope it stays that way, because if this doesnt work out for me, i am done with birthcontrol and we gonna try to have another baby and get tubes tied. because after i had my first child i have tryed so much birthcontrol for years after my daughter was born in 2007 and everything didnt work good for me because my body didnt ajust to it.. so far mieara is doing good for me and i REALLY HOPE IT STAYS LIKE THAT..LOL good luck to all of you and hope it works out :)
