i have a hole the size of a bb pellet on the side of my tongue. it has been there several days and is very painful. can you please tell me what caused this and what to do? thank you.

That is very unusual and I cannot think of any reasons for why you would have a hole in your tongue but you should have it looked at right away. It could get infected if it's actually open or a sore or something like that so you should definitely make sure that you have it looked at. Go and see a doctor right away! Keep us posted on what it is.
