I'm a recovering addict as well(I'm on methadone, so I still have this problem). Almost every heroin addict has this problem. I too refer to is as giving birth to a poop baby(not meant to be funny), I would have poop contractions and everything. It is because opiates don't allow your small intestine to work right. When I was using I would do my shot on the toilet, in a way my body got trained the minute I had dope, I would have to go to use the bathroom. I now pooping is horrifying, but my suggestion is to let yourself every few days get sick enough to have to go. The fewer the opiates you have in your body the more your intestines start working again. Do your morning shot on the toilet.

We'll! I've been using heroin for about 2 1\2 yes and I've been pluggiung it the whole time and I've never ever gone more than 5 days without pooping. Just the other day I went to go #2 and I was constipated and it hurt when I was finally able to go and when I went to wipe there was bright red blood on the TP and since then I've went to the bathroom once and the same hing happened brought red blood. But I have NO pain at all. And it only has happened when I go piop.
I know you state you have no insurance I suggest you go to the ER cuz they can't turn you away and you can get papwrwork to apply for charity help. You don't have to tell them your a heroin user just tell them your symptoms and then go from there. If you do not have a job or u do work but your income isn't that high thrtres a good possibility that you would be approved at 100% coverage at the hospital you go to so that all the test they have run on you would be covered
If your not able to go to the bathroom but every 2 weeks of course your in pain your literally full of sh*t. You have to be seen. Also I would suggest using miralax once a day it will make you go everyday once its in your system probably like 5-7 days after you start it
I use everyday up to a gram and a half. How about u? How do u use!

Dear Everyone who is suffering, I have been where you are and I have the perfect solution- possibly the only solution:
I give myself a coffee enema every day or every other day. The warm liquid breaks up the impacted stool, the caffeine stimulates and cleans your liver. You cannot continue to suffer as you are currently doing; you can't count on laxatives, either...I have been through the "giving birth to Danny Devito through my back passage" chapter of my life, and I thought I was going to die right then and there. Please buy an enema kit, fill it with clean, warm, filtered water and coffee (NOT INSTANT COFFEE!!!!!). Get a percolator or coffee press, get good quality coffee. Don't complain about not having money to buy coffee...it's cheaper than bowel surgery, and cheaper than drugs. Look up coffee enemas on YouTube so that you do it correctly. You will actually start looking forward to going to the bathroom again...the enemas will make you feel good. Please try it and save yourself and your body from going through an actual trauma.
