I take pain pills as prescribed because I am in excruciating pain and can not walk without them. I hate taking pills but none of the doctors can seem to get me out of pain. I take them for what they are intended. I figure if I don't I don't have a good quality of life and the pain is so intense I'd rather not live. So for all of you that cry and boo hoo about how horrible pain pills are and how you abused them then you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for abusing them but you ought to remember that there are people like me that use them for what they were intended and have to take pain pills in order to move around and live a life!!

You should try 'kratom' it worked awesome for me and my husband! I am a month clean, with little symptoms, and I have 3 wonderful children to look forward to every morning! I actually have energy with this kratom...you can get different strands of it as well.it is all natural and not addictive, all u do is weigh a 3-5gram powder(it's a leaf crushed up) than I mix orange juice with it....you down the drink and 20 min later I have no aches...mental or cravings! im telling you this is something that is cheap....easy to do, I think everybody should use it coming off drugs!

I truly believe this saved my life! I don't know what I would have done without it! I hope this helps you out....it is like prison being hooked on something so addictive...I never will go back, I feel normal again and enjoy life everyday! Good luck, and remember you weren't always like this...you will feel normal again! Cheers :)

hi 'love my pup' just to reply toyour comment i know its been a while, but im just reading everyones post now and blown away by how many people are crying out for help same as me with the same feelings. u prob already found out by now why ur hair falls out n combs out so easily. its a common side effect but especially in women. theres a couplle causes of it. the 1st is slow but progressive mal-nutrition. while on pills for long time many dont eat healthy meals like they use to. u prob find urself eating lot more junk food, eating less at certain times during your addiction, not sleeping enough to giv ur muscles and body a chance to heal. if you look at long term heroin users majority suffer from being seriously underweight n malnourished. and usually women will have super thin hair , ther period stops, they dont move ther bowels for weeks at a time. whiich causes major amounts of toxins to build up in the body that normally come out. also opiates wear on our production of certain vitamins n minerals. you can have a major b vitamin issue. opiates stop production of b12 , b6, and all the healthy b vitamins which control our nervous system and stress n how we deal wth it. also causes loss of biotin another b vitamin which in healthy amounts feeds new hair growth n folicles. and it goes on and on ... my x girlfriend use to comb out clumps of hair and wed both be freakin out n i was so worried bout it.. but after 4 years we both finally got off opiates and she doesnt experience that problem anymor...

PLEASE STAY OFF OF THEM IF iTS BEEN 10 DAYS THATS AWESOME. YOU BE IN CONTROL NOT A STUPID PILL. GIVE IT ANOTHER 2 DAYS ALSO TAKE AMINO ACID PILLS AND B-12 , SOUNDS SILLY BUT YOU WILL GET A LOT OF ENERGY NOW THAT YOUR OFF. i DID THE SAME THING YOU DID AND IM GLAD, I WAS PLACED ON CYMBALTA AND THAT CHANGED MY DAYS WITHIN 4 DAYS OF TAKING IT . THE CYMBALTA GAVE ME THE MOTIVATION AND ENERGY TO ENJOY TO DO THINGS AND PEOPLE AGAIN. I USED TO SIT LITERALLY FOR HOURS ON THE COMPUTER AND NOT GET ANYTHING DONE I HAD NO DESIRE TO WORK. LIKE I SAID 2 MORE DAYS. GOOD LUCK ...LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING.

My doc just quit , I got called my doc office for my three month check up , To get my refills . Long story short the new ladie they hired doesn't prescribe narcotics . She says sorry your just gonna have to live this pain your gonna have it your whole life. So im sick as sh*t , every doc I talk to is treating me like I was buying them off the street . My wife wants to kill me half the time . Its hard to even get up more or less go to work . Im having trouble sleeping eating Anything .

I was taking oxycodone and methadone for 8 years, xanax for 2years. today I am 67 days clean!! I will not sugar coat anything. IT HAS BEEN HELL!! I have not had any cravings and would not want to ever go back to that life or have to deal with this physical and mental withdrawal EVER.I still have no energy. I try to walk 30min to an hour everyday but when I get out I feel like I'm in a fog still. I have no coordination and no desire to do anything. I do think positive and look toward a better future! good luck to everyone who is going thru this...

Good luck to all of you... I was on hydrocodone 10/500 for the last 10 years... the same story as everyone else, tired of taking too many to kill the pain and then "borrowing" from friends and having to payback and not having enough to get through the month, buying more off the street - and endless cycle until about 3 months ago. i decided i was tired of the habit, the withdrawls when i ran out and the mental hassel of tracking more down. the physical part was not so bad, i was prescribed colonipin already so that helped me get rest but i talked to a local pharmacist that i had went to highschool with and he recommended a supplement of vitamin d called ribose, really hard to find, but i took it 3 times a day for 6 weeks and the weakness in my muscles and the pain was eased. I still deal very much with fatigue, but i know that too will get better. i have tried vitamin b supplements for the energy, and do alot of energy shots but nothing seems to help the tired feeling. i am no longer taking the anxiety meds for sleep, i take melatonin and that helps alot i sleep very well, just do not wake up feeling refreshed. i pray that God gives all of you the strength to overcome the bondages of addiction, i have! if anyone could offer me some information on how to get my energy back i would appreciate it, or if you know how long its gonna take to return. again lots of luck to all!!
