I am a concerned parent. Doctors suspect that my son might have celiac disease. They say that there are some tests that should be done. I wouldn’t know which ones are. I would like to know how long we must wait for those tests. Maybe someone could tell me something more.

Hi, there. Celiac disease cannot be diagnosed only based on symptoms and physical examination. Some additional tests must be done. First, you have blood tests. Antibodies should be found in the blood. On the other hand, biopsy is also needed. Biopsy will 100% determine whether your kid has this disease or not. I guess that you should wait a couple of days for this. You should’ve asked this your kid’s doctor. I hope everything will be all right.
