how soon after implantation can i take a pregnancy test

Hi, I tracked my temps, CM, etc and am now pregnant. With tracking I found out that I have a 9 day LP. This month on the 9th day my temp dropped real low like I was going to start AF and I had cramps and spotting. However, on day 10 I woke up and my temp has shot back up and no AF. I took a HPT at about 1:30 in the afternoon and it was positive. So I went to the doctors office at 4:30 and took another one and it was positive. They thought it might be to early to show but it did. So I took my HPT on the day of my missed AF which was 10 days after ovulation but only one day after implantation (temp drop) and I got the positive result I was looking for.

me and my husband been ttc for the past 6 months. i started ovulating on oct 28 and had lite spotting (only when i wiped) on november 2 and last for four days, could this be implantation bleeding? my cycle is 36 days and i always get my af on time. ive been feeling quesy when i wake up n late at night. my breast is sore and lite cramping on and off also been craving to drink lots of water which i only drink water very few days. has anyone else experieced this please help

Ten days of high temperatures does not indicate you're pregnant; three days beyond your usual luteal phase length does. So, the average is 14 days and you will know you are pregnant if your temperature stays high for 17 days. For me, my luteal phase is 10-11 days long, so I'll know at 14. It seems that most suggest waiting until the first day of your missed period to test.

Hello my name is Kayla. Ok Here's my story. On Dec. 10th I went into the hospital because I thought I had the flu and the doctor ordered a urine pregnancy test and it came out positive. So the Doctor told me to STOP taking my BIRTH CONTROL, so I stop taking it. I went into the hospital again because they told me to come back if my vomiting got worse so I did and I told them that I was pregnant and the Doctor ordered a blood test and an ultrasound and it said that I was NOT pregnant and my husband and I were so upset that we decided to go ahead and start trying for a baby, on the 11th we had sex 4 times then on the 12th we had sex twice, and the 13th once. On the 14th I started having spotting and it was brown and red a little and after that it was brown and it stopped completely on 16th. So I took a CLEARBLUE PREGNANCY TEST today and it came out NEGATIVE. Can anyone give me advice on what to do. The doctor did blood work on me on the 15th and they did a blood pregnancy test and they told me that I could get that early, but i feel like it would be too early for that. Can anyone help me please!!!!!!!!

Exactly how heavy can spotting be? My boyfriend and I had anal on the 8th and 15th and it was unprotected and he came inside of me and when I went to the bathroom he came out of me so I was paranoid that I am pregnant. I took a pregnancy test early on the 28th and again today, the 31st, and both have come back negative and unless spotting can be pretty heavy so that I need to be wearing something at all times then I am not pregnant, but I just wanted to be sure that none of these things are indications that I am not pregnant. Also it started yesterday, the 30th, and I was supposed to get it tomorrrow, Feb 1st, and irregularity is unfortunately normal for me. Does this all point to me not being pregnant, as in can I stop worrying and freaking out?

Bad information lady! From TCOYF: It's not TEN days after ovulation that you ARE pregnant, it's 18 DAYS! ALSO, Most luteal phases are between 10 and 16 days, not 12 and 16 days.

Now you know you should use a condom. Most likely you are not pregnant.

"Irregular periods" are usually normal. 2 days different is not bizarre. The time between your period and ovulation can be lengthened due to stress or whatever. The time after ovulation is usually the same every month for the same woman (anywhere between 10 to 16 days). It is not your period that is "irregular", your ovulation timing was "irregular" - but again, a very normal thing for every woman. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Don't worry about if it comes a couple days late, etc. but if you charted you wouldn't have to worry at ALL.

i've been taking dong quia capsule from march 22(afternoon) until march 30 (evening).. ive been wondering because i had a clear discharge on march 23, and from march24 unti no (april 2) the discharge became yellowish/ milky like cervical mucus?
what does this mean? is this because of ovulation or pregnancy?
i had an unprotected sex last feb.26,2010.. i had light bleeding on march 11-12
i had a home preg. test on march 30,2010, the result was negative..
im wondering if this discharge happens because in few days i will have my period which is suppose to be on april 5.. or is this discharge could be a sign that im pregnant? pls. help.. tnx!!!

I just stumbled across this site.

My periods have been long for the past six months - most between 34 - 37 day cycles. Always light first/second day and heavy the third. They are only ever 4- 5 days long.

Today i'm on day 36 of my cycle, though my cycle last month was only 34 days long. So i was due for my period on the 15th April, and it now is the 17th. On Monday the 12th ( 3 days before expected period, going off a 34 day cycle) i had very very light red/brown spotting. It only lasted a day and then nothing. No heavy period after that, like the norm. My husband and i have been Trying to conceive and this would make it our 4th attempted cycle. We're both 27. I could have sworn i was pregnant, as i was feelng off the Sunday night before my light bleeding and i also felt a little feverish. I have never experienced light spotting before. Anyway, did two preg test today - 5 days after light spotting. And both came up negative. Did i jump the gun and test too soon?

Seriously I wish that someone would let us know when they find out if they are prego. Maybe I could judge a little better if I knew how the outcome was for others. I am freaking out. I am 18. Not married and so confused and I really need to know if someone else has had something like this. I am really feeling all alone. I cant tell my boyfriend yet becaues I dont want to freak him out if I am not preg. Same with mom. They will be great I think but I need feedback before.

I was on depo for 6 months and my period stopped. I have not had a period since then. Had unprotected sex (I was naive and thought that because I had not had a period yet, chances are I could not get preg. I was so stupid. Did not even put two and two together and think that you ovulate before period and because I had not had a period yet I would not know if I was ovulating. STUPID!!) and was going to get shot again, but because we were unprotected had to wait until after my period to get it. I started my period (for the first time since going off Depo shot. What are the odds?) It was pretty normal, but pretty normal for me is pretty light. However it as very dark brown. Not bright red at all and lasted for about four days. Flow seemed pretty normal though. But again, for me a light period is pretty normal. I never have cramps, but I did cramp. Nasty sharp little things that would come and go. My bbs are so tender I can hardly touch them. I feel like I cannot function I am so tired. I have had intense headaches (anyone experience that symptom:) that nothing will touch. They are getting a little better, but during my bleeding they were terrible. I am sick to my stomach. Do not actually throw up, but I wish I could sometimes. I cannot eat hardly at all. And I cry or want to cry all the time. The problem is this. I do not know if I had a period. I dont know when my period should or should not come. I have not had a period so I have no idea when I ovulate. I dont know if I was ovulating when we were unprotected. I took a preg. test the day after I stopped bleeding and it was neg. When should I take one again? I know that I should wait until I missed my next period, but remember I dont know if I had a period or if it was implantation. Help someone.

How did u kno it was implantation bleeding and not ur period? I think im preg but i just started bleeding this morning and my period isnt suppose to come until the 28th which is 3 days early. So can i still be preg if im bleeding?

To cheap testing and figured they were evap lines - however I got my "period" on the 22nd a couple of days early - at first it was
Very very light which is un usual for me the next day I woke to very heavy brown non smelling ( gunk) sorry it's a bit graphic.
I know what my period usually looks/feels like and this cycle just wasn't right - I've not been ussing birth control for 2 months now
And previous cycles have been like before ( when I was on birth control) so I don't think that could be why. I've gone off track - after 2

ACTUALLY You CAN know when implantation occurs. There are VERY small signs. Such as, implantation "spotting". There also might be small cramping.

The color of the blood varies and could include blood that is pink or dark brown, even black by the time the spotting occurs."

Can someone help me out please? I had sex with my boyfriend (july8th) and the condom ripped really close to the tip and of course we did not know, he released inside of me and im assuming that everything ended up inside of me because when he took off the condom practically nothing was in it. During the time we had sex i didn't know exactly if i was ovulating because my breasts were sore and my period was due the next weekend which was about a week away but i did some research and found out that implantation occurs from about 6-14 days and i have no idea if this is a coincidence but i started a very light bleeding(july14) exactly 6 days after my mishap and the bleeding came 3 days before my expected period. i do not know if this could mean that I'm pregnant because my period or whatever this may be has never happened, the blood is very light from my usual period and lasted 6 days. I don't know what to think of this, other than this bleeding i feel bloated and at times i have cramps. I really need some advice on this, do you guys think this could be spotting and that i could be pregnant or just a coincidence?? please and thank you for your replies.
