Ok, so I got into running about a year and a half ago. I've mainly done 5 and 10k's, but recently signed up for my first 1/2 marathon. I have no doubt that will be able to complete it endurance-wise, but when I run a really long distance, I always have to go to the bathroom! # 2 that is...
I've heard that this is actually quite common, so was wondering if anyone had any ways to stop this from happening. Any suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated!! I am being tempted from getting out of this run because of this uncomfortable problem.

Hello, I'm new here!

Anyways, I've often had the same problem. I try not to eat anything with much fiber before a run, which sometimes helps. I tend to go #2 around the same times everyday, so I either plan my runs for right after those times when possible or else make sure my route takes me by a public restroom.
