Hello, I would like to hear something more about dealing with the Gulf War syndrome. My older brother is a Gulf War veteran and he has been complaining of the muscle problems and constant fatigue. Doctor mentioned him a possibility of the Gulf War syndrome and I need to know how that condition is treated. Is it treatable at all?
Gulf War syndrome is still a subject of many discussions and there are still those who say that it is not something that should be related to that conflict and things involved, such as stress, chemical weapons (depleted uranium), infectious diseases etc. Basically, it is treated as any other condition, symptoms are suppressed and if the true cause is determined, the therapy is shifted toward that direction. But, it is questionable how much success it will have.
