Hi i left my husband 8 years ago due to abuse of myself and my children, he was and still is a heavy drinker. we are still friends and sees the children regular but he won't or can't stop drinking. He was told he had cirrhosis 2 years ago, been to detox loads, rehab but nothing works. Four weeks ago he went into an alcoholic coma and was lucky to survive. He promised to stop, went to detox, councelling sessions aagain again starting drinking again. I know it's got to be his choice to stop and will be lucky If he sees the year out but how do you cope and help the children watching him kill himself . Help
