I am 39 years old and 10 years ago I had to undergo an emergency C-Section then an emergency hysterectomy.  I was told my uterus was removed.  Still have ovaries and cervix.  Did not have a period for approx. 6 years.  Then all of a sudden periods started up again.  They are never much maybe one little spot, 2 or 3 days, light, one time I remember it being heavy.  Right now I could not say when I had my last period (maybe 4 to 5 months ago).  I have the symptoms (blah mood, depressed, short tempered, maybe cramping one side only and only every other month if then)  I am on medicine for depression.  Is it normal to go a few months without period then have a very small one and then never know when it will happen again.
