This is my situation.  I had a complete hysterectomy in 2005 but was left with both my ovarias.  Since then I have always had BM issues like always being constipated.  Well here recently in the past 8 months it has gotten worst to the point that I have to take a laxative once a month in order for me to have a BM, always bloated and its so painful, I'm constantly going to urinate because I cannot hold it and have sometimes even had accidents in bed where I wet the bed without knowing till I wakeup, I have gained about 40 lbs in since October 2012, lots of water retentsion and I swell all over, I have had daily migraines yet my vitals are always incredibly normal, I have recently in the past 3 weeks had sever sharp pains on my left side of my lower abdomen close to my left ovary and pelvis and have now started to bleed bright red nothing brown like old blood and it does not smell at all 4 days ago and here in the past 2 days I'm now getting bloody clots.  Its not a constent run but it is everyday and havier by the day and it hurts soo severely I cramp up into fetal position and as the bleeding and clots go down the vagina I feel like something is pulling my insides out through my vagina and its extremely painful.  I have even ended up at the emergency room and they cant find nothing wrong with me and only give me pain medication and send me right back to work.  I can't work this way becauseas soon as I start walking the pain becomes unbareable and I began to bleed even more and I end up back at the drs office or emergency room.  Drs have even asked me if I have had rough sex...aint that crazy????  I have told them I'm a Lesbian and married and we take good care of each other and were gentle with each other and due to this we have not been intimate in over a month because were both worried about what is wrong with my health right now????  I felt horrible when that comment was made!!!  Does anyone have and suggestions please.  I feel soo alone soo hopeless and and soo lost and in soo much pain.  Will someone please help me.

I totally feel the way a lot of you do and I'm also looking for answers myself I feel horrible and soo lost. This is my situation. have you tried any of those suggestions? I've tried many things to make me go. High doses of vitamin c, liquid mag citrate, milk of mag, veggies galore... everything. The only thing that really worked were laxatives, but I refuse to be dependent on something that is so bad for long term use. So far I am really swearing by the fiber gummies, magnesium supplement and the squatty potty. If you want to just deal with it, then by all means go for it. I couldn't just deal with it. The bloating, weight gain, water retention, just over all yuckyness. Plus my urogyn and gi docs telling me everything was fine when I knew it wasn't. I'm 29 and post hyst I couldn't take a S@#$ on my own? I don't think so. I'm just trying to spread the word around as to what helped me. Many of these women have never heard of visceral or physical therapy. These two forms, also called biofeedback, stopped most of my pelvic floor issues. The rest was my own trial and error. If I can help just one person get through their issues, then I will be one happy woman. :) Good luck to you

You can do your own transit study, eat sesame seeds or corn, something that doesn't digest and that you can see on the way out. Typical transit time is 36-72 hours. If you are exceeding that then the food is fermenting in your tummy causing all kinds of bloating and cramping sensations.

What do the docs say as to your vaginal bleeding? Did you keep your cervix? Where is that blood coming from if you don't have a uterus?  I have just the vault, but did keep my ovaries. Any other surgery'? Rectocele repair?  Also, what tests did you have done?

Sorry for all the q's, sometimes it just helps to talk it out :)

Thank you Dianap, yes I have tried all of those and especially the gummies because since I'm taking soo many medications now the lining of my stomach has ruptured and I have stomach ulcers and a hernia in my stomach, I have had a complete hysterectomy due to endometriosis and fybrocysts but I still have both my ovaries, I have had a tubligation, Gastric bypass, and a major breast reduction.

With all this I also have stress fractures on both legs from both knees all the way down to my feet and both dropped arches and both knee problems, I have breast lumps on my right breast and left breast that require their removal as soon as I get out of the military, I also have a stress fracture on my pelvic, So what I mentioned early is just an additional to all I'm going through....I feel soo alone

No I'm sorry I'm just upset, I will do your suggestions, as a matter of fact I took some milk of magnesia, today, and I have Dulcolax. As you said who wants to depend on this. I've gotten the strength to get on the tread mill, I walk pretty slow for one hour, also I changed my diet, but today I cheated with a cup cake, I was surprised that it didn't bother me one bit. Thanks again. I'm just stressed, thinking about my gallbladder surgery in a couple months. But I find that taking walks helps a lot, and drinking water.

You're not alone. I'm a mil spouse, nbsd. Hubby is D so I have been coping alone with two kids. I didn't see any ct scan, colonoscopy, xrays in your post? Have your docs done these? I had my tvh done here at Naval Hospital Balboa. If you're in the same area I can recommend my dr. You said you had endo, not I have read other posts from women whose ovary attached to their intestinal wall, binding to it, causing narrowing, unnatural kinks and a few other things. Very painful. So, do you still have your cervix? What do they say about the vag bleeding?

No worries!
Have you tried digestive enzymes? I my research with ibs I stumbled across a few articles on how your thyroid plays a major role in digestion. It releases hormones that release digestive enzymes naturally. When it gets lazy things can roll down hill, eventually upsetting your gallbladder. I would do some thyroid research before you have another surgery. I would like to say that for the first week you may be bloated from the enzymes, I actually had diarrhea which was more of a blessing than constipation!

walking does help, so does chewing your food longer than you normally would, especially if you have gallbladder issues. just walk 20 minutes after you eat :)

dulcolax stopped working for me. I tried all the fiber therapies and miralax. have you tried those?

I get that swelling too. I truly believe it's inflamation in the cells causing the swelling. The doctr that told you re lower tolerance to pain is F.O.S.
