I can relate I'm almost 16 and I haven't started I'm getting concerned because I was on anti depressents and strong anxiety meds since I was 9. I'm 96 pound and my sicoligest said it really bad and that I'll problem end up in the hospital so I'm really scared. I found out I can't eat dairy any more in November. From my meds and my anxiety I dont eat as much as i should and they say its an eating disorder and I have bin that way since I was 9. When I was in 6th grade I was very very underweight. Sorry for the spelling. Any advice?

I'm in the EXACT same situation. I'm anorexic and I have never started my period. My mother started at 13 and I have dealt with this for a while. I have a healthy BMI though so I guess I have to weight restore. But I really want a period. I feel so left out

Hey! I turn 16 in April and I haven't gotten my period yet either. I have kind of smallish breasts and pubic hair, but no period, so my doctor wants me to have blood work done to see what's up. I'm really terrified though, because while I like not having my period yet I really don't want to have to get blood work taken. Forgot to mention,,,we usually don't stay with the first guy or boy we meet,,,I myself am now 35 and recently became fully capable of letting go and having a good time,,I remember thinking one day not so long ago that I wish I would have waited for me,,cause I made most my dates or boyfriends wait months while we were dating almost years before having sex and at the age of 23 or 24 I started dating someone I went to school with my entire childhood thru high school,,,went on at least 3 months of regular dating before we had sex! And the morning after we had done it? I woke up and he was gone? Left me at his mom's house,,,which is my friend,,,(she and I hung out for awhile together outside of her son and i's dating,,,I'm very pretty and athletic and clean,,never over promiscuous? I still haven't had my period, but I'm overweight. I had it about 3ish years ago then never had it again. I'm 15 I turn 16 in October. I haven't had much development except for hair growing. I've talked to some of my friends and they say I might be infertile. And my mom and sister both started when they were about 13-14. Do you have an answer for that???

okay this is so late, the last posts here are from a year ago, but: I've just turned 15 and I don't have my period which is awful. I'm quite small, short, completely flat chested at my age. All of my friends and girls in my class talk about periods, tell stories of their first or embarrassing moments about it from years ago whereas I haven't even started, which is kind of embarrassing. It's not common in the family either-- my mum started at age 12 and my older sister at age 11, which makes me more worried as I'm 3-4 years behind both. The doctor says there is nothing wrong with me, but I'm worried about why I haven't started. It's like all of my friends are in some womanly world and I'm left out.

I am in the same boat!! I'm going to be 16 in two months, and I haven't gotten my period. I'm only 81 pounds, and I've struggled with an eating disorder in the past, which might be part of it. But all my friends started theirs years ago, and even my mom said she got hers when she was 11.

Hey, I'm fifteen and didn't properly start growing breasts until I was about fourteen, don't worry. And I still haven't started my period yet, even though everyone I know has. Don't worry though, reading these comments on here and other things online I think that your body will run its natural course on its own, maybe a bit faster or quicker than others but your time will come. :) xx
