ver the last 3 months I have been waking up 3 -4 times a night in  intense pain in my left and also now my right, non oprerated shoulder.  In 2008 I had a double bankart on my left shoulder and they went in again for a cleanup run after it did not heal correctly,  I never got the full story.  The shoulder was never right, but less pain and no subluxations which is a plus, but range of motion was 70% of before.  This pain I feel when woken up due to the pain is after being is a static state, no mevement for a few hours, I roll over or move, the pain lights up and is tremendous,  I wake up immediately, and it takes icy hot/heat/ or cold to get back to sleep each time,  I have noticed it to a much lesser extent on my right shoulder as well.  As I am writing I just had this happen tonight and 45 minutes laster my arm and should still feel as if they are on fire from inside.  Doctor did say at our last consultation that I woudl need a shoulder replacemnt by the time I am 40, just turned forty 2 weeks ago,  who knows.  So ny help is appreciated.  SHoulder is relatively fine during the day, maybe a shade more tender, and 20% less capable
