I am a 42 year old woman and I was recently diagnosed with primary-progressive MS - what a life altering diagnosis! The symptoms appeared seemingly out of nowhere and are progressively getting worse. I also feel constant weakness in my legs. Is this something that is characteristic for MS, or am I the only one?

I am afraid so. Of the people who suffer from primary-progressive Multiple Sclerosis, the majority is affected by muscle weakness and the legs are a common target for this. You may well be able to get some medication that will ease your symptoms, so perhaps it is a good idea to speak with your doctor about this as soon as you can.
