I had sex on 1/12 and hour later after I took plan B for precaution I am on birth control Im suppose to start my period today but it has not came yet should I be worried
Hi Betty,
You did not need/should not have taken Plan B. Your daily birth control is MUCH more effective. Plan B is for emergencies, not backup.
Common side effects of Plan B include your next several periods being early or late, they can be heavier or lighter than usual, you may have cramping or spotting, you can have tender breasts, nausea, etc.
It is unlikely you are pregnant.
Hope it helps.
I have those symptoms but no spotting .
You may not have all the symptoms.
You can take a home test if you are late. Use your first morning urine. Again, it is unlikely you are pregnant.
