I have been having prwasure in my head for over a week now. It even effects my eyes. My eyes feel dry, sore and they water up too sometimes. But also my vision gets unfocused. I don't see worse. I see the same. Can still read and see details. It's just like it's unfocused. Like something is effecting and irritating something deeper inside my eyes. But the preassure in my head makes me ears pop like when you are on a plane. The preassure doesn't hurt too bad. It's just unsettling and uncomfortable. Light makes it worse and more notable. CT scan came back good. I don't know what to do. Waiting to get in with a neuro opt.

There could be various potential causes for the pressure in your head, eye discomfort, dryness, watering, and unfocused vision. Here are a few possibilities, though only a doctor can provide an accurate assessment:
-
Migraine: Migraines can cause head pressure, eye discomfort, and visual disturbances. Sensitivity to light (photophobia) is also a common symptom.
-
Sinus issues: Sinus congestion or inflammation can lead to head pressure and discomfort, which may affect the eyes as well.
-
Dry eye syndrome: Dry eyes can cause eye discomfort, watering, and blurred or fluctuating vision.
-
Optic nerve or visual pathway issues: Pressure in the head can sometimes be associated with problems in the optic nerve or visual pathway, which could affect vision.
Since you've already had a CT scan that came back normal, it's positive that no acute abnormalities were detected. However, it's still essential to follow up with a neuro-ophthalmologist as scheduled. They will be able to evaluate your symptoms more thoroughly and provide further guidance on potential diagnostic tests or treatments.
In the meantime, you can try to manage your symptoms by minimizing exposure to bright lights, using artificial tears for dryness, and practicing relaxation techniques.
