hi im new to this site,so bare with me.i had a stoma fited may off last year,i have a bag.i went to see my doctor to day,as i was having problems,as i was leaking all the time.
also,my colum was filling up as well,as if i needed to go to the toilet as normal.
my doctor has now said i need a subtotal colectomy...
he has told me what that means and the risk that it would mean.
but i need to know more,as how much off a risk i would be taking.
he said it is a dangerous operation,also after wards,it means taking pills for blood clots so on.but can anyone tell me more?
