I'm 14 years old, and until about a year and a half ago, I constantly overate, causing my stomach to stretch.
It didn't help that I have a Lactose intolerance that we had no idea about until I was 6, the gas and bloating cause by dairy stretched my stomach even more.
Recently I've been very responsible about taking my Lactaids (The pill to help with Lactose intolerance) and eating properly.
Since then I've lost almost 100lbs, and my stomach has for the most part become flat again, I can even notice my hipbones. However I still have this constant bloat.
IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) runs in the family, but when I asked the doctor, he said it's very unlikely that I have it. I'm so confused and I would LOVE to have a flat stomach.
Anyone know if it's possible for your stomach to go back to normal completely?

Hi Kaela.
I think it is possible. it is a good think you've decided to be responsible about your body..
Do you exercise?
I think you are young and your body is in a process of developing , but also a great timing for getting in shape and staying this way for the rest of your life.
If you have constant problems with bloating perhaps you are glucose intolerant? perhpas your doctor should make an allergy test .. just a thought..
