Hello! My doctor told me that I have the following problem. What I want to know something basic about it. I have iga nephropathy diagnosed. I would like to ask about possibility of differential diagnosis. It seems that my disorder is like something else. Does anyone know the secret of diagnosis efficiency? I just want to thanks for your reply.
Actually, Ig A nephropathy is not a kidney disorder; but it is a disorder in IgA which is an mmunoglobulin our body produce to fight infection. The abnormality is simply the kidney is not able to pass its metabolite with urine, so it preciptate causing kidney problems. one of the basic treatments is to do tonsilectomy to reduce the amount of IgA produced. Hope this is helpful
