Hi Brittany,
First off, the ultrasound date is an approximation. There is now way to know exactly how old a fetus is.
Doctors usually base dates off of your LMP. Why? Because most women know exactly when that is. Conception would normally occur about 2 weeks after your last period started.
Length of pregnancy is considered to be about 40 weeks, from the start of the period, even though it really is about 38 weeks (from when conception actually occurred).
It seems as though your doctor is assuming your LMP was around the first week of February. That would be consistent with your expected due date and the ultrasound.
Hope it helps.
