Yes, you are in puberty.
Her doctor is only partially right. Normally she'll ovulate, release an egg between about days 11 and 16 of her cycle. Day 1 is when her period starts. Assuming a 4-5 day period then yes, she can get pregnant a week after her period finishes - BUT your sperm can survive about 5 days. So really any time after her period, or even near the end of it, she can get pregnant.
There is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy with any sexual contact.
Did you see semen? You have masturbated before and know what it looks like, right? Or was it clear, almost like from a runny nose? If the latter, it's likely you saw precum - from being aroused. If you haven't recently ejaculated, as in since the last time you urinated, it probably didn't contain sperm.
Use protection. Condoms are cheap compared to raising a baby or having an abortion.
