About 9 or 10 days after my last period, I noticed I had some brown discharge which progressed for about 6 days. It started off light, then somewhat heavy (which required me to wear a pad for about two days). Occassionally I passed dark brown tissues about the size of a nickle or quarter. About day 4 of my discharge it began to lighten and by day 6 it was totally gone. Not once during that "light period" did I notice any "fresh" blood (red blood).

My periods are usually irregular, but my cycles average 28 days. If I didn't count those 6 days as an early and VERY light period, then I was suppose to get my period on March 20th. It is now March 30, and I do not have my period. (Usually my periods are longer, and heavier--as in I pass MANY large bright red tissues along with blood.) However I seem to be experiencing some slight PMS symtoms, like sore breast and slight twinges near my pelvic region.

So my question is, would that be considered implantation bleeding or a VERY light and short period? Is it normal for implantation bleeding to consist of passing of tissues?

Thank you for answering. I think I have been stressing myself over the issue lately.
