I am concerned for my health, or should I say, health of my teeth. I have always had problems with them, even my gums are always bleeding. Anyway. I went to a dentist yesterday, who had to pull out one of my back teeth (he said that there was no way to save it). Now I am still in an almost constant pain. Is this infection or dry socket?

Dry socket or condensing osteitis is a condition that might occur after the extraction of the tooth. It is a pain caused by infection of a near by bone. You should go back to your dentist and ask for some medication to relieve you of the pain. Also, you should brush properly and strengthen your gums in that way.
