Ok you guys I don't have health insurance right now so thats why I've resorted to this post otherwise I would just go to the doctor. Anyways I always used to get ingrown hairs and irritation on my neck when I first started shaving but now I am starting to get thicker hair everywhere. And a very popular spot that I seem to be getting this irritation and what I would like to think is ingrown hairs are right by my lips. I just am searching for answers right now like how do I prevent them...? because I'm already using a beard trimmer to shave now no longer my 4 razored blade so that way I don't get such a close shave and they keep showing up. Is there some kind of vitamin that I can take to prevent this...? Do shave bumps occur in places where new hair is starting to develop? I mean I am almost 100 percent positive already that this has nothing to do with herpes because I've researched and if I don't touch these bumps they will just litterally just sit and hang out on my face for a couple days they don't pulsate or get bigger or break open and bleed but after a while of leaving them alone there becomes no more redness around them and I can almost just like peel them off my face. Ugh.. I'm just so damn frustrated, I get really paranoid that everyone is staring at my lips when I get these around them so yea I will take whatever answers or advise I can get at this point I just want them to go away. So please help

Hi there--there is a gel for men who shave who get ingrown hairs that helps clear them. Have you heard of it? It is typically for African-American men so they sell them in the ethnic beauty section of most markets. You should try that out if you haven't before. What do you think?
