My husband visited doctor lately because of stomach problems. I don’t know how he discovered he’s got hemoroids. We know hemoroids burn, itch, and hurt a lot. He didn’t have any of these symptoms, so we don’t understand what kind of hemoroids is that. The doctor said it’s internal, so what is the difference between those we know for them and these internal hemoroids?

It’s normal he didn’t feel those symptoms because internal hemoroids usually don’t hurt or itch. The reason he didn’t feel them is because they are deep inside the rectum. External hemoroids are the ones which cause most of symptoms we commonly heard about. That is as you know, pain, burning and itching. When external hemoroids became strangulated a clot can form in it and it becomes excruciatingly painful thrombosed. That’s why external get more treatment attention then internal hemoroids. Internal hemoroids are pretty much harmless. They should be treated because that could happen they mask blood from a dangerous source as colorectal cancer is. Internal hemoroids are the same with external in way it’s hard to get rid of both of them completely when rectal veins have been stretched out once. Fortunately, good life habits and medical treatment usually control them well. Surgery is only recommended in unusually severe cases.

I have been treated for hemorrhoids with steroids and still have very bad burning. I have used over the counter ointments, and they seem to burn more. Could it be yeast infection from the drugs?
