Any suggestions on products I should use - I've always used Always pads.
but I find my skin becomes very dry and chapped. I cure this by using Vaseline for a day or so.

i totally agree with you i get the same thing but pads are so much better than tampons. i dont like tampons and although the iritated skin is persisting i am still using pads with wings and find them very uncomfortable but it is alot more hassle free. i used vaseline for a while then went to a doctor and recieved cream the pain and rash has nearly gone now try seeing a doctor?
what pads do you use

I'm really glad I'm not the only one dealing with this.
I actually developed a sore from my pads (and I know it was from the pads because I'm definitely a virgin and you can't get STDs from toilet seats).
I'll have to try the Vaseline from now on because this really hurts.

Do not use tampon. It will cause bacteria infection very easily. I had very bad experience on that. Do you still have problem using regular sanitary pads? If you do, please contact me, I will introduce one product that can help you.

Hey girl i know how you feel, try luna pads, they are all natural cotton reusable pads that wont hurt or irritate you, also there are menstrual cups, example diva cup.... this is great and is washable, hypoallergenic, and protects very well! Hope this helps!!! :-D

I use always pads as well and usually by the second day of my period I am so sore - like I have a chemical burn from the pads...I wonder if it is the material in the strip down the middle.  I love the way always protects but I am just in so much pain that I might resort back to tampons.

The rayon in the pads always causes me to feel as though I have chemical burns. 100% cotton pads and tampons should clear up your problem. I didn't learn what was causing my problems until my daughter got TSS from tampons and died within 3 days. I stopped using tampons and my chronic yeast cleared up immediately, I was still using pads with rayon and felt like the chemical burns were happening, so I changed to 100% cotton and it cleared up totally.

I am having the same problem with pads irritating me down there and it's very frustrating!!!! I have this problem where I spot almost all the time and always wear a pad just in case the bleeding starts.... Which is all the time :-(..... The pads are really causing itching and burning do to the itching. The spotting it to light for tampons and hurt to take out but pads make me itch itch itch..... What do I do?

DO NOT USE A TAMPON. No matter what you do DON'T. They cause SO much more diseases & infections than pads do. But I have a really bad itch & open sores from the pads & it's realllllllly bad. I'm literally about to goto all cotton pads I just have to find them somewhere because I am so frustrated

I am so relieved!! I have the same thing and i seriously thought that i have an infection...which is impossible since i am still a virgin.. I have started having periods for 4 years now and it's my first time having sores.. I freaked out big time but kept it to myself and didn't tell my mom cause she has a lot on her plate right now anyway.... Now that i'm all relieved, how do you cure it?

It might be due an allergy to the pads. Trying separating your skin from the pad with a cloth or a layer of cream, it might work.
