You are bound to have some leakage before the baby comes. What is showing up on your nightdress is really not milk per say, but a form of breast milk called COLOSTRUM. This is produced by the mammary glands in late pregnancy and the first few days after giving birth. COLOSTRUM is high in carbs, protein and antibodies but low in fat.
Your real milk will come in a few days after your baby is born. If you are going to breast feed, the COLOSTRUM is excellent for your baby's start to life. It also helps baby produce his/her first bowel movement and it's filled with antibodies to help baby and her immune system.
Good luck to you and your anticipated little one. :-D
