I have chronic sinus problem for years. Recently I found out that I have some inflammation on my right cheek bone. Is it possible that I need surgery for this?

I don’t know for sure, but if you can feel tenderness or soreness above and below the eye, would indicate neural rather than sinus problem. I have chronic sinus problem but I always use antibiotics and steroids. Sinus problem would be extremely painful but would not be picked up by sensory nerves of the face and the thing is that Neuritis of the facial nerve is often thought to be sinus problem. It should be evaluated by professional. He will know it possible surgery is needed. Take care.
