I have always maintained that a loving, sexual relationship between siblings can often be more stable and rewarding than building one with a "stranger". What I mean is this: who better to weather the vicissitudes of life together -- AND to help you explore your sexuality -- than someone who has a lifetime of shared experiences with you, who already knows all your secrets, who knows you at your best AND your worst, and still loves you deeply anyway? The deep bond of affection between many brothers and sisters could easily evolve into a lifetime mate relationship that goes well beyond that of most siblings. Indeed, it is possible that the very societal condemnation heaped upon such couples could actually forge their bond even tighter, strengthening their commitment to a long life together. Regardless of the albeit possible health ramifications for their offspring, such couples are to be admired for their courage (especially to admitting it here), and for the strength and depth of their love for each other. I can only wish them the same happiness we all seek.
