for the past two months, my child has been experiencing a post nasal drip which is usually always thick and white except upon awakening wherein its yellow. No fever, happy, normal appetite, but troubled by having to spit out this mucous. Some days are worse than others. His pediatrician has tried him on decongestants, Claritan, and now Azithromycin for three days. Nothing has helped. If this is truly a sinus infection, would'nt the Azithromax have helped ? Can this white mucous be normal for him without being a sign of infection?
