I have been a vegetarian for the last ten years and I recently found out I am anemic. So, apart from taking an iron supplement now, I am hoping to find foods to boost my iron intake. Is it true that tempeh contains a lot of iron? I hope so, because I do love tempeh! I am looking forward to hearing from someone!

I am sorry to hear about your anaemia! This has happened to me as well, twice during pregnancy and one additional time. Tempeh does contain a lot of iron, and is a good way to up your iron levels. Cashew nuts are another great vegan source of iron, as are pineapples and prunes. There are many more of course, but these are some of the foods I love.
