Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me, this may sound strange or silly but Im seven and half months pregnant. I took a clear blue test which turned out too say 2-3 weeks pregnant the day after I ended up sleeping with an ex. Is there any chance that this could affect my pregnancy and is my curent partner deffo the dad? My paranoia is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. x

There is no way the pregnancy test, if taken the next day, would indicate a pregnancy UNLESS you were already pregnant.
It just doesn't happen that fast. Even if you were to get pregnant after sex, it can take several days before the egg implants into the uterus and you become pregnant.
It also takes time for the level of hCG, the hormone made by the embryo that the test looks for, to rise high enough to be detected.
So, if you had sex with your current partner BEFORE the ex, then they are likely the father.

Thank you, but what I meant was that I took the test which came out positive also said 2-3 weeks pregnant, then the day afterwards I slept with my ex partner I was just wondering if this would complicate the pregnancy at all. Or am I just being silly now lol

2. When you slept with your ex you were already pregnant, that's almost 100% certainty. False positives are rare.
3. Don't go by the timing of the test, they are not that accurate. It's an approximation.

Yes I was sleeping with my current partner before I slept with my ex. I slept with my ex for the first time the day after I took the test.
